Program provides funding to help teachers and education leaders enhance programs and support students
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Information Center) — Teachers and education leaders across East Tennessee have an opportunity to apply for funding through the TangerKids Grant Program.
The program invites educators to request grants that can help enhance educational programs and provide additional resources and opportunities for students.
In 2025, Tanger awarded 176 grants totaling more than $200,000 to schools and educational programs.
Applications for the latest round of TangerKids Grants remain open through Oct. 18.
Educators across East Tennessee are encouraged to apply and seek funding for projects and programs designed to make a greater impact in their school communities.
The grants are intended to help educators expand programs, address student needs and provide resources that may otherwise be difficult to fund.
