Spring Color Update from Grandfather Mountain – 05/26/2026

Spring continues to shine at Grandfather Mountain, even though the last four days have brought much-needed rain to the area. Weather equipment near the Wilson Center for Nature Discovery has recorded 3.99 inches of rain since last Friday.
Rhododendron Rambles are happening daily this week at 1 p.m. These guided strolls led by park naturalists are included in admission. A return to drier weather looks promising for Friday and the weekend.
