Tennessee-based health system recognized among 250 organizations nationwide for workplace culture and employee support
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Health Center) — Covenant Health has been ranked No. 48 on Forbes’ 2026 list of America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals, placing the Tennessee-based health system among 250 health care organizations recognized nationwide.
The recognition highlights Covenant Health’s efforts to support caregivers, clinicians, employees and volunteers through a workplace culture focused on excellence, compassion and service.
The rankings are based on survey responses from more than 30,000 employees working for health care and social services providers across the United States. Participants evaluated employers on factors including wages, working conditions, scheduling flexibility, career advancement opportunities and workplace safety.
Covenant Health has also received recognition from several other organizations for its workplace environment and employment practices.
Recent honors include Forbes’ Best-in-State Employers list for Tennessee, Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women and America’s Greatest Workplaces for Gen Z.
