Riders will travel through Jefferson County Oct. 24 before ending at the American Eagle Foundation in Kodak.
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Events Center) — Motorcycle riders will hit the road Oct. 24 for a benefit ride supporting Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center.
Kickstands go up at 11 a.m. from the Sevierville Civic Center parking lot. The ride will travel through Jefferson County before ending at the American Eagle Foundation in Kodak.
The entry fee is $20 per motorcycle.
Following the ride, participants can take part in lunch, a silent auction and door prizes. Patches also will be given to riders.
Safe Harbor provides coordinated services for children who have experienced abuse, bringing law enforcement, Child Protective Services, medical and mental health providers and the District Attorney General’s Office together in a child-focused, child-friendly setting.
The organization works to make the process of reporting and responding to child abuse less traumatic for children and their families while connecting young victims with the services they need.
Organizers say the event will bring motorcycle enthusiasts together while raising support for Safe Harbor and its work serving vulnerable children in the community.
