The seasonal show combines comedy, music, dancing and Halloween decorations, with performances scheduled through Nov. 5.

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Events Center) — The clock is ticking for visitors hoping to experience the Hatfield & McCoy Fall Fiasco in Pigeon Forge, where the popular family-friendly show adds Halloween flair to its mix of comedy, music, dancing and stunts.

The seasonal production transforms the theater with pumpkins, cobwebs and other spooky decorations, bringing an extra dose of fall fun to the Hatfield and McCoy rivalry.

Derek Zoo, who performs as Mr. Mayor, said Halloween and autumn are his favorite time of year, making the seasonal show especially exciting.

“The fact that we get to jumpstart that in the month of September is phenomenal,” Zoo said.

Zoo said the production aims to offer something for everyone, combining comedy with dancing, clogging and live music.

“We want to make sure that everyone has a great time and is really enjoying themselves,” he said, praising the talent of the cast and adding that the show continues to improve as the season progresses.

One of the production’s standout moments is the bridge drop, a 25-foot plunge into a pool that performer Mitchell Duquette described as his favorite part of the show.

Duquette said the stunt involves standing on a platform and letting the mechanism do the work, with the performer dropping into the water below.

He also highlighted a musical moment featuring Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” which has been added to the production.

“It’s a little cliche, but ‘Thriller,’ the song that we’ve added in there, is definitely my favorite part of the entire thing,” Duquette said.

The combination of stunts, comedy, music and seasonal decorations gives the Fall Fiasco a Halloween twist while maintaining the entertainment that audiences expect from the show.

With the seasonal run scheduled through Nov. 5, Zoo encouraged visitors to secure tickets in advance.

“Grab your tickets right now,” he said.

For those planning a fall trip to the Smoky Mountains, the remaining performances offer another opportunity to enjoy Halloween-themed entertainment in Pigeon Forge before the season wraps up.
