America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration at the Cove

Mayor Jacobs also invites the community to join him this Saturday, July 11 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. out at the Cove at Concord Park as we continue to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary. A variety of activities will take place throughout the day, concluding with fireworks. A full schedule of events can be found on the Visit Knoxville website.
- 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Community Activations Explore an interactive vendor village featuring local artisans, historical exhibits, and community partners. Enjoy hands-on activities for kids, food trucks, and a showcase of what makes Knox County unique. Commemorative event water bottles will be available for sale at the Visit Knoxville tent, with free water refills provided by the First Utility District Hydration Station.
- 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Concert on the Cove Special Guest: Carson Beyer Grab your lawn chairs and blankets for a special 250th-anniversary edition of our beloved concert series. Experience live music against the beautiful backdrop of Fort Loudoun Lake. Learn more about Carson Beyer here.
- Anniversary Fireworks Join Mayor Jacobs and look to the skies! We’ll cap off the celebration with a fireworks show launched directly over the water.
