AMERICA 250 – Founding Documents Displayed

Join us as Haywood County proudly unveils our nation’s founding documents — displayed in a handcrafted case built from locally donated reclaimed barn wood.
As part of America 250, this special moment honors not only the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights — but also the craftsmanship and community spirit that brought this permanent display to life.
The barn wood used in the display was generously donated by the Ensley, Caldwell, Boyd, and Messer families, connecting our agricultural heritage with the founding principles of our nation. The display was designed by Randy Cunningham and expertly crafted by Tim Sisk, making this a truly local collaboration.
