Appalachian music, dancing, and community in Waynesville

Mark your calendars for an evening of Appalachian music, dancing, and community in downtown Waynesville!
Join your community on Friday, August 7, from 6:30–9 p.m. in front of the Historic Haywood County Courthouse for the final Mountain Street Dance of the summer.
Enjoy live bluegrass from Cold Mountain Bluegrass, performances by the Mountain Tradition Cloggers, and break sets by Loraine Conard & Friends. Then, step into the action with a traditional public square dance led by legendary caller Joe Sam Queen — no experience needed!
Bring your family, invite your friends, and experience one of Western North Carolina’s most beloved summer traditions. Admission is free.
