Waynesville to Host Ribbon Cutting for New EV Charging Stations
The Town of Waynesville will celebrate the installation of six new public electric vehicle charging stations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this Friday.
The new Level 2 chargers — located at Waynesville Parks & Recreation near the tennis courts — expand the town’s EV infrastructure and support residents and visitors who want to charge their vehicles while enjoying the park.
This installation is also notable regionally, as the six-port Level 2 station is one of only two of its size in Western North Carolina.
