Public Family Fishing Event

Get ready for the Pisgah Ranger District’s Public Family Fishing Event!
The event will take place at Lake Powhatan Recreation Area, May 30th, 2026. 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult and may fish- no license required.
Fishing, games, prizes and more.
Lunch will be provided by our friends from Trout Unlimited.
Equipment will be available to loan for the event.
