Bounds said while day passes are available, the best value is to stay on property. Locals can stay and play to take advantage of the games and dining. It’s a staycation she said.

“We have everything on site. We have dining, we have plenty of dining options available. We have giftshops, we have Adventure Forest, a family entertainment center, with a mega arcade, a 3 story ropes course, and mini bowling,” Bounds said.
The resort has recently completed a complete renovation of Stone Hill’s lobby, corridors and all of its 234 guest. The room upgrades include new doors, windows, paint, carpet, flooring, countertops, furniture, artwork, and televisions.
Ridge Runner, is a three-story water coaster that features three steep drops, uphill blasts, high speeds, and the premier of the world’s first slide with Reverse AquaLucent effects with colorful, spellbinding patterns. These special tubes also allow light to filter through, adding brightness to the Wild WaterDome.
According to Pete Tennis, the Managing Director, “Ridge Runner is really amazing! To get riders’ adrenaline pumping, the water coaster begins with a heart-pounding 22-foot drop at 29 mph before propelling the riders up into a right hairpin turn inside the first Reverse AquaLucent section. A second drop follows into an open flume, followed by an uphill blast into a sharp left turn inside another Reverse AquaLucent tube with different patterns. For thrill’s sake, the coaster will repeat a third time into a final set of patterns inside another Reverse AquaLucent tube.”
