KAT has decided to suspend service to all routes on Saturday evening. This will apply to fixed-route and LIFT paratransit service.
“The difficult decision to suspend service is to ensure safety of our passengers and operators, which is our number one priority,” KAT said in a statement.
KAT is planning to resume service on January 1, 2026 with the first lineup departing Knoxville Station at 10:15 a.m. This is subject to modifications as road conditions are assessed by the transit authority.
