We’re on the roller coaster ride of temperature swings this week ranging from 60s to 80s.
(SEVIERVILLE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – You’ll almost have to check the weather by the hour this week because we swing from 30s and 40s on Monday morning to 80s by Wednesday and back to the 60s.
Monday morning, we wake up in the upper 30s to near 40. The afternoon warms to the upper 70s.
By Thursday and Friday temperatures are back to the 60s for the afternoon with morning lows in the 30s and 40s.
THE OUTLOOK FOR RAIN
The extended forecast does come with chances for rain, more widespread on Wednesday. Early indications bring close to two inches of rain. This will be much needed to help with the drought situation across the Smoky Mountains.
