If you travel through North Knoxville, plan for temporary road closures later this week.
KUB says contractor crews will close Fair Drive between Knox Road and Meadow Road from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, and Thursday, July 17.
The closures are needed to off-load utility poles ahead of an upcoming electric system improvement project.
Drivers should use Knox Road, Cedar Lane or Meadow Road as alternate routes. Access to homes and driveways will be maintained, and flaggers and traffic control devices will be on site to help direct traffic.
