Sunday brunch, lakeside strolls and mountain views are back beginning Sept. 13.
LAKE JUNALUSKA, N.C. — One of western North Carolina’s favorite fall traditions is making its return just as cooler temperatures begin arriving in the mountains.
Sunday Brunch at York Dining Commons returns to Lake Junaluska beginning Sunday, Sept. 13, offering guests a chance to enjoy a hearty meal followed by a relaxing day along one of the region’s most scenic lakes.
The rotating buffet features a variety of breakfast and lunch favorites, along with fresh salads, desserts and beverages. Brunch will be served every Sunday from Sept. 13 through March 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
But the experience doesn’t end at the dining table.
After brunch, visitors can take a stroll along Lake Junaluska’s picturesque 3.8-mile lakeside walking trail, browse Junaluska Gifts & Grounds, let the kids enjoy the playground or simply soak in the colorful fall foliage reflected across the lake.
Brunch is $25 per person, including tax and gratuity. Children ages 4 and younger eat free, while children ages 5 to 11, active military members and first responders receive 50% off.
Located at York Dining Commons, 238 N. Lakeshore Drive, the weekly brunch is open to everyone and has become a favorite seasonal tradition for both locals and visitors looking to enjoy the beauty of the North Carolina mountains.
