Jeep Invasion brings more calls, arrests and citations to Pigeon Forge in 2026

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Travel Center) — Pigeon Forge police handled more calls for service, made more arrests and issued more citations during the 2026 Jeep Invasion than during the previous two years, according to numbers provided by the Pigeon Forge Police Department.

The annual event brings thousands of Jeep owners and visitors to Pigeon Forge for several days of shows, cruises and activities.

According to department figures, officers handled 847 calls for service during the 2026 Jeep Invasion.

That compares with 717 calls in 2025. The department did not provide a calls-for-service total for 2024 in the figures released.

Arrests also increased.

Police made 27 arrests during the 2026 event, compared with 20 in 2025 and 16 in 2024.

That represents a 35% increase from 2025 and 69% more arrests than in 2024.

Citations also increase

Officers issued 269 citations during this year’s Jeep Invasion.

That was up from 220 citations in 2025, a 22% increase.

However, citations were still higher in 2024, when officers issued 247.

The department also recorded 20 accidents during the 2026 event, compared with 19 in 2025 and 17 in 2024.

Incident reports also increased significantly.

Police recorded 19 incident reports this year, compared with 10 in 2025 and six in 2024.

2026 Jeep Invasion by the numbers

The numbers provide a snapshot of the additional workload for police during one of Pigeon Forge’s largest annual events.

While the number of citations and arrests increased this year, the figures do not indicate how many of the incidents were directly related to specific types of behavior or violations.

The 2026 Jeep Invasion has now wrapped up, sending thousands of Jeeps and their owners home after another busy week in the Smoky Mountains.

For local law enforcement, the event also meant another year of increased activity on Pigeon Forge streets.
