Company President Eugene Naughton will share details as the Dollywood family continues remembering its Dreamer-in-Chief.
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Information Center) — Dollywood will announce plans next week for how the company intends to honor the legacy of Dolly Parton at its parks and resort properties.
Parton was known at Dollywood as the company’s “Dreamer-in-Chief.”
The announcement comes as Dollywood employees, guests and the broader Smoky Mountain community continue to celebrate Parton’s extraordinary life and legacy.
A memorial has also been established in Dollywood’s Welcome Plaza for guests and community members who want to remember Parton.
The memorial provides a place to reflect on her life, honor her contributions and celebrate the joy she brought to millions of people.
Dollywood says the memorial is open to anyone who wishes to pay their respects.
More details about the future of Parton’s legacy at Dollywood and its parks and resort properties are expected during the press conference next week.
