More than 300 high school golfers will compete Oct. 4-9 at Sevierville Golf Club
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Information Center) — Sevierville will host the 2026 TSSAA High School Golf State Championships Oct. 4-9, bringing more than 300 high school golfers to the Sevierville Golf Club.
The championship tournament will feature student-athletes competing for state titles at Sevierville Golf Club, 1444 Old Knoxville Highway.
The city is looking for nearly 200 volunteers to help with the tournament throughout the week.
Volunteer opportunities include scoring, check-in and shuttle driving. Organizers are encouraging local businesses to form volunteer teams as a way to support the community and showcase their businesses during the championship.
Individual volunteers are also welcome to participate.
The city says hosting the tournament provides an opportunity to showcase Sevierville both on and off the golf course while welcoming student-athletes and their families to the community.
Those interested in volunteering are encouraged to sign up through the city’s event organizers.
