ALCOA, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Travel Center) — Terminal Lot B at McGhee Tyson Airport is temporarily closed to arriving parkers as crews upgrade parking equipment.
The closure began Monday, Oct. 19, as part of the airport’s Flight Plan initiative to improve the parking experience.
Airport officials said vehicles already parked in Terminal Lot B will still be able to exit the lot when their owners return.
Travelers heading to McGhee Tyson Airport should plan ahead and allow extra time to find parking while the upgrades are underway.
The airport thanked travelers for their patience as the improvements are completed.
