PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Events Center) — The sights, sounds and traditions of Christmas are returning to Dolly Parton’s Stampede, where families can celebrate the holiday season with live entertainment, festive decorations and a hearty dinner.

Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede opens Wednesday, Oct. 28, and runs through Jan. 3, 2027, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to add the dinner show to their Smoky Mountain holiday plans.

The seasonal production features a full-scale living Nativity depicting the birth of Jesus, with Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise Men, camels, donkeys and sheep. The show also includes an ice-skating performance, an aerial production set to music from The Nutcracker and the arrival of Santa Claus.

During the “Magic of Toys” segment, the Sugar Plum Fairy brings favorite toys to life in a festive aerial performance. Meanwhile, the show’s 32 horses and talented performers take center stage for equestrian stunts, exciting competitions and holiday-themed entertainment featuring elves from the North and South Poles.

A 35,000-square-foot arena, enhanced by a state-of-the-art LED wall, adds immersive holiday scenery ranging from the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains to the skies above Bethlehem.

Guests can also enjoy a four-course holiday meal featuring creamy vegetable soup, a biscuit, rotisserie chicken, hickory-smoked pulled pork, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes and a specialty holiday dessert. Unlimited Coca-Cola products, tea or coffee are included. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available upon request.

Travis Randall, general manager of Dolly Parton’s Stampede, said the holiday season brings families together and creates lasting memories.

“We love being a place where families can come together and make those Christmas memories,” Randall said.

Whether planning a family getaway, continuing a holiday tradition or visiting the Smokies for the first time, Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede offers a mix of seasonal entertainment, Christmas storytelling and Southern hospitality.

With the show opening in late October, visitors can start planning their holiday adventure now. Families traveling to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg can make the dinner show part of a larger Smoky Mountain getaway filled with holiday attractions, seasonal events and festive experiences.
