The Rena Street municipal project is expected to open in 2028 as part of the city’s long-term investment in public facilities.
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Information Center) — Construction is underway on a new Pigeon Forge City Hall as the city continues a multiyear effort to modernize its municipal facilities.
The new City Hall will be built at 3221 Rena St., on the site of the former Fire Station 1. The facility is projected to open in 2028.
The project is part of a broader municipal campus taking shape along Rena Street. The new City Hall will be located between the existing City Hall and the new Pigeon Forge Police Department headquarters, which is expected to open in late 2026.
The city’s facility upgrades also include a new Fire Station 1, which opened in 2025.
Together, the projects represent a significant investment in the facilities used by city employees and public safety personnel to serve residents and visitors.
Early construction work is now underway at the future City Hall site, marking another step in the city’s plans to update its municipal infrastructure.
As work continues, the new campus will bring several key city operations together along Rena Street while providing updated facilities for the growing tourism destination.
The new City Hall is currently expected to open in 2028.
