GATLINBURG, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Events Center) — Anakeesta is bringing back its Local Appreciation Days, offering residents and employees in four East Tennessee counties a chance to enjoy a mountaintop adventure for just $5 per person.
The special promotion runs Nov. 6-13 and is available to residents and employees of Blount, Cocke, Jefferson and Sevier counties.
Visitors can take a scenic ride aboard the Crystal Express Gondola, explore the Treetop Skywalk and enjoy views of the Smoky Mountains during the fall season.
This year’s promotion also supports a local cause. Anakeesta is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the organization’s efforts to fight hunger across the region.
To qualify, guests must present a Tennessee photo ID showing a current address in one of the four eligible counties. Employees who live outside those counties may present a current photo ID along with a pay stub dated within the last 30 days showing employment in an eligible county.
Anakeesta says the annual promotion is a way to thank its East Tennessee neighbors for their continued support while giving more local families an opportunity to experience the mountaintop attraction.
