Two-day event will feature moonshine drinks, museum admission and an opportunity to support Hatfield and McCoy history

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Adventure Center) — Visitors attending Rod Run in Pigeon Forge this week can get a taste of history while supporting the preservation of the Hatfield and McCoy legacy.

The Hatfield & McCoy Experience will host a special two-day fundraiser Sept. 18-19 benefiting Hatfield’s and McCoy’s Foundation Inc.

The event will combine classic cars, Appalachian history and Devil’s Lightning moonshine with a special $15 package that includes museum admission and a signature moonshine drink.

Three drinks will be available during the fundraiser:

  • Outlaw Tiger’s Blood — a frozen slush
  • Randal’s Blackberry Lemonade — a frozen slush
  • The Devil’s Apple Pie — served on the rocks

Devil’s Lightning bottles also will be available during the event. Jack Hatfield is scheduled to be at the experience throughout the fundraiser to meet visitors, discuss Hatfield and McCoy history and autograph bottles.

The event’s theme is “Hot Rods. Cold Moonshine. Real History.”

Organizers are inviting Rod Run visitors to stop by the museum, explore the history of the famous Appalachian feud and support the foundation through the two-day fundraiser.

The Hatfield & McCoy Experience is located at 107 Old Mill Ave. in Pigeon Forge, in the historic Old Mill District near Traffic Light No. 7.

The fundraiser runs Sept. 18 and 19, 2026, during Rod Run.

The event is designed to help preserve and share the history and heritage of the Hatfield and McCoy families while giving visitors another attraction to experience during one of Pigeon Forge’s busiest automotive weekends.
