Two to three inches of rain is expected Friday night into Saturday morning. This amount of rain in a short period of time will lead to runoff issues. You could see creeks and streams rise fast on Saturday morning. There are some concerns of flooding in Gatlinburg to Pittman Center.
There is a remote possibility we could see a severe storm. Gusty winds will be an issue especially for the higher elevations of the mountains.
