(ALCOA,Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – After being closed for several hours, operations have resumed at Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport.
McGhee Tyson Airport – “The airfield and runways are now open for operations. Each airline determines when they resume service, and it may take some time for flights to begin departing and arriving.”
It is best to check with your airline to see how this impacts rescheduled flights.

McGhee Tyson Airport, Knoxville has announced the runway will be closed for several hours due to the winter storm.
Due to continued conditions, the airfield and runways will be closed until 4pm EST.
