(GATLINBURG, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – The Great Smoky Mountains has announced road closures in Cades Cove that will impact your visit over the next few weeks.
The National Park Service says they plan hazard tree removal on Cades Cove Loop Road and to protect visitor safety they plan closures.
Starting Monday, Cades Cove Loop Road will be temporarily closed to all users for hazard tree removal.
Scheduled closure dates: February 9–13 and February 23-27.
The road will reopen at 12 PM each Friday and remain open through the weekend during regular hours (sunrise to sunset).
Cades Cove Loop Road will be closed to all users during these dates.
