When the Hard Rock Cafe closes next month, a Chicago based pizza company plans to open early next year.
(PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – As word got out that Hard Rock Cafe in Pigeon Forge would close later this year, many wondered what would replace it.
Giordano’s Pizza, based in Chicago, has confirmed they would open a restaurant where the Hard Rock Cafe in Pigeon Forge has been since May of 2014.
Giordano’s is currently subleasing the property to Hard Rock. The final day of Hard Rock in Pigeon Forge will be August 23, 2026. Currently the Rock Shop is selling merchandise at 50% off.
“When most folks hear “Chicago-style pizza,” they think deep-dish. They picture a thick, high-seated crust with plenty of room for tomato sauce, cheese and everything else you could want on a pizza,” Giordano’s posted in a blog.
Giordano’s is constantly making headlines, both in Chicago and nationally. The brand garners frequent media coverage and continuously tops “Best Pizza” lists and dining guides. Giordano’s has been acclaimed “Chicago’s Best Pizza” by NBC, CBS Chicago, New York Times, Chicago Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Eater, Home & Garden Magazine, Concierge Preferred and more!
