The City of Pigeon Forge has announced Amy Warner will step in as Interim Director of Tourism.
(PIGOEN FORGE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – With more than 20 years experience in the tourism industry, Pigeon Forge has named an interim successor after the retirement of Leon Downey as the tourism director.
Amy Warner has been named to step into the role.
Amy brings more than 20 years of experience in the local tourism and marketing industry and has been an active leader within the hospitality community for many years. She has served on the Pigeon Forge Hospitality & Tourism Association (PFHTA) Board of Directors for more than nine years and currently serves as Co-Chair of the organization’s Communications Committee.
“I am honored for the opportunity to serve in this role and continue working alongside our tourism partners, local businesses, and city leadership,” said Warner. “Pigeon Forge has an incredible tourism community, and I look forward to helping continue the strong momentum and success our city has experienced.”
As Interim Director of Tourism, Warner will oversee tourism promotion efforts and continue supporting the city’s hospitality industry, visitor experience initiatives, and destination marketing programs.
