Residents who live on Flat Creek have organized a boat parade for July 4th and want you to see it.
(SEVIERVILLE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – Friends, families and neighbors are invited to celebrate America’s 250th birthday during the annual Fourth of July Boat Parade on Saturday, July 4.
The patriotic tradition will begin at 2 p.m. at the head of Flat Creek, where boaters are encouraged to decorate their vessels in red, white and blue before joining the parade.
The event offers residents and visitors an opportunity to celebrate Independence Day while honoring the nation’s semiquincentennial with a festive display on the water.
Participants of all ages are welcome to take part by decorating their boats with patriotic themes and joining fellow community members for the annual procession.
