SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Business Center) — Coffee lovers could soon have another drive-thru option in Sevierville.
The Sevierville Planning Commission is scheduled to consider final site plan approval Thursday evening for a new 7 Brew Coffee location at 1820 Bertie St. and Parkway.
According to planning documents, Southern Brew Corp. is seeking approval to construct a drive-thru coffee shop on property located within the city’s Arterial Commercial (AC) Zoning District.
City planning staff is recommending approval of the project, subject to the resolution of proposed sidewalk improvements along Bertie Street.
If approved, the new location would bring the fast-growing drive-thru coffee brand to another highly traveled commercial area in Sevierville, continuing the city’s recent growth in quick-service restaurants and beverage concepts.
The proposal is one of several development requests on the agenda for the Sevierville Planning Commission meeting, which begins at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at the Sevierville Civic Center.
