12,000 pumpkins light up Dollywood
Dollywood’s Harvest Festival runs Sept. 14 through Oct. 31, bringing fall-themed entertainment, food and activities to the park.
The centerpiece of the nighttime experience is Great Pumpkin LumiNights, featuring 12,000 carved pumpkins throughout the park.
During the festival, Dollywood stays open until 9 p.m., giving families additional time to enjoy the illuminated experience. Extended hours of 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. will be offered Oct. 3-15.
New after-hours Halloween event
Dollywood is also introducing a new separately ticketed event this fall.
Harvey’s Boo Bash will take place Oct. 16, 23 and 30 following the regular park’s 9 p.m. closing.
The after-hours event runs from 9 p.m. to midnight and includes access to Great Pumpkin LumiNights, candy-collecting stations, character meet-and-greets and select Dollywood attractions.
Guests will also have an opportunity to ride the park’s newest attraction, NightFlight Expedition.
Two dance parties are planned each evening, with one beginning at 9:30 p.m. and another at 11 p.m.
Dollywood says a limited number of tickets will be available for each night, giving guests more opportunities to enjoy the attractions and activities.
