New experiences, memorials and community projects will celebrate Dolly’s faith, imagination, love of children and connection to the Smoky Mountains.

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Information Center) — Dolly Parton’s influence will continue to shape the places she called home as Dollywood Parks & Resorts and the Sevierville community prepare to introduce a series of new experiences and installations honoring her life and legacy.

The projects, planned over the coming months and into 2027, will give visitors and locals new ways to remember Parton and reflect on the values that guided her life — including faith, family, kindness, imagination and her deep love for the Great Smoky Mountains.

Dollywood President Eugene Naughton said the park’s leadership had extensive conversations with Parton over the years about how she wanted her vision carried forward.

“Dollywood will always be a place where families find fun, kindness and joy — a place where they can make memories that last a lifetime, just like she would have wanted,” Naughton said.

The new additions will be spread throughout Dollywood and the surrounding community, creating multiple ways to celebrate different parts of Parton’s life.
