Gatlinburg’s Original Oktoberfest returns Sept. 25 through Nov. 1 with German food, live music, competitions and fall festivities.
GATLINBURG, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Events Center) — Oktoberfest is returning to Ober Gatlinburg this fall, bringing Bavarian food, music and festivities to the mountaintop from Sept. 25 through Nov. 1.
Ober Gatlinburg will transform its grounds into a Bavarian-style festival setting featuring blue-and-white checkered decorations, mums, fall leaves, oversized steins and seasonal photo opportunities.
Visitors can listen to live bands on the outdoor sound stage and take part in stein-holding competitions.

The mountaintop biergarten will feature five German beers from Yee-Haw Brewing, along with traditional German-inspired food including chicken schnitzel, sausages, turkey legs and giant pretzels.
Dessert options will include apple strudel, pumpkin fudge and other sweet treats.
There is no admission ticket required to attend Oktoberfest. Visitors who want to experience other attractions at Ober Gatlinburg can purchase an Adventure Pass or Fun Pass, which can include activities such as the tram, scenic lift rides, coaster, bobsled, ice skating and zipline.
Oktoberfest runs daily from Sept. 25 through Nov. 1.
