Gates will open three hours early with half-price food and drinks during the first hour
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE GameDay Center) — What started as an unusual pregame move is becoming a Tennessee football tradition for the rest of the season.
Tennessee athletic director Danny White announced Thursday that Happy Hour at Neyland Stadium will continue for the remainder of the season, with gates opening three hours before kickoff.
Fans will receive half-priced concessions during the first hour after gates open, including food and drinks.
White said the decision was inspired by the response from Vol Nation to the early pregame schedule last week.
“Inspired by Vol Nation’s incredible response to unusual pregame circumstances last week, Happy Hour at Neyland Stadium will be in effect for the remainder of the season!” White posted on social media.
He added that the initiative is intended as a way to thank Tennessee fans.
“I hope this is a small way we can show our appreciation to the best fans in the country.”
The announcement means Tennessee fans can expect the early-gate and Happy Hour setup for the remainder of the 2026 football season at Neyland Stadium.
The game starts early. The Happy Hour starts earlier. 🥤🍔🏈
