Three-day festival features live entertainment, food trucks, family activities and handmade gifts, with proceeds supporting environmental protection in Sevier County.

WEARS VALLEY, Tenn. — The Wears Valley Fall Fest is celebrating its 13th year, bringing hundreds of vendors, food trucks and family-friendly activities to the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.

The three-day event features more than 240 craft vendors, 22 food trucks, live entertainment and an expanded children’s area. Festival organizers expect approximately 18,000 people to attend throughout the weekend.

Lisa Bryan, who has helped organize the festival for more than a decade, said the event has grown significantly since its early years.

The festival offers a variety of handmade crafts, seasonal decorations, birdhouses, Christmas wreaths and other unique items. Bryan said the event also gives visitors an opportunity to get a head start on holiday shopping.

“If you’re always looking for that unique gift, you can find it here at the Wears Valley Fall Fest,” Bryan said.

Food is another major attraction, with options ranging from steak on a stick to ham on a stick. Families can also explore an expanded children’s section featuring a maze and a butterfly photo opportunity.

Beyond the festivities, the event supports an environmental mission in Sevier County. Bryan said proceeds go back into the community to support efforts to protect the area’s environment.

Organizing the festival takes year-round planning, she said, with returning vendors helping make the event possible each year.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5, and parking is free.

Visitors traveling along Wears Valley Road should turn left onto Robeson Road and follow festival signs to designated parking areas. Volunteers will be stationed along the route to help direct traffic and assist visitors.

With mountain scenery, local crafts, live entertainment and activities for all ages, the Wears Valley Fall Fest offers visitors another way to enjoy autumn in the Smokies while supporting environmental protection efforts in Sevier County.
