The Volunteer Chevrolet 16th Annual Smoky Mountain Kick-Off Jamboree returns to Sevier County High School on Friday, Aug. 14, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
The annual preseason showcase gives fans their first look at all five Sevier County high school football programs before the games start counting in the standings.
Taking the field will be the:
- Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders
- Northview Academy Cougars
- Pigeon Forge Tigers
- Sevier County Smoky Bears
- Seymour Eagles
But it’s more than just football.
The evening will feature performances from each school’s marching band, cheerleaders and dance teams, creating the electric atmosphere that signals the return of Friday night lights across Sevier County.
One of the night’s most memorable traditions will once again open the festivities as all five marching bands unite on the field for a combined performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Whether you’re cheering for the Highlanders, Cougars, Tigers, Smoky Bears or Eagles, the Kick-Off Jamboree offers a chance for the entire community to celebrate the beginning of another football season.
