For more than 40 years families have enjoyed the thrills of the racing and rides for the littles at The Track.
(PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – The Track in Pigeon Forge made an announcement on Monday morning that will change how families visit the Smoky Mountains.
After 40 years of family fun, the attraction announced they would close officially November 1, 2026.
The attraction located on Parkway at Wears Valley Road has been the site of many memories for families to Pigeon Forge. Smokies.LIVE invites you to leave your family memories in the comments below.

To all the families who have joined us for adventures at The Track in Pigeon Forge, we want to say thank you for allowing us to be a part of your memories! After 4 decades of fun we are officially announcing the closure of this location on November 1.
We still look forward to hosting you this summer and fall for special family memories and one more lap around the go-kart track in Pigeon Forge! Our other locations in Destin, Gulf Shores and Myrtle Beach will continue to operate as normal.
This is so sad for our family. We have been taking grandchildren where we once took our son over 35 years ago. If I remember correctly, he worked there when he was in high school.
I’m so sorry to hear this. Some of my best memories both as a teenager and then later on in life on vacations with my family. Never a disappointed. Will have to come to Pigeon Forge this fall for one last ride!
