VERDICT: An Event for Crime & Commerce will bring an interactive investigation experience to the LeConte Event Center.
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Events Center) — A first-of-its-kind event is headed to Pigeon Forge next year, bringing true crime enthusiasts from across the country to the Smokies.
VERDICT: An Event for Crime & Commerce will make its debut Aug. 6-8, 2027, at the LeConte Event Center, offering an immersive weekend where attendees become part of the investigation.
Rather than simply watching presentations, participants will choose a role, follow clues, examine evidence and work through an interactive true crime experience designed to put them in the middle of the case.
Organizers expect the inaugural event to attract thousands of visitors from across the United States, adding another major convention to Pigeon Forge’s expanding calendar of special events.
In addition to the interactive experience, VERDICT will bring together businesses, content creators and members of the true crime community for a weekend of networking, exhibits and entertainment.
The announcement marks another addition to the LeConte Event Center’s diverse lineup of conventions, helping continue Pigeon Forge’s growth as a year-round destination for specialty events.
