(DOLLYWOOD, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – Dollywood prepares to wrap up the 40th season with a final weekend of Smoky Mountain Christmas. There’s also a few days left to take advantage of resort discounts for 2026.
Dollywood Theme Park will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11:00 AM — 9:00 PM. Dollywood will close for the season on January 4, 2026.
For this weekend, you can discover a winter wonderland twinkling with more than 6 million twinkling lights, dozens of towering Christmas trees and more, all adding a cheerful glow to award-winning rides and attractions, like the new Peppermint Valley in Country Fair.
When Dolly Parton opened the 40th season in March, she thanked the crowd for supporting the park all these years.
“Thank you to our guests and the community for the support they’ve given to my Dollywood for 40 years,” Dolly said about the historic milestone for her award-winning park.
Dollywood will reopen in the spring with the ‘I Will Always Love You Festival’ on March 13, 2026 for season pass holders and to the general public on March 14, 2026.
While the park is closed, visitors to Pigeon Forge who want to get a Dolly Parton experience can stay in the DreamMore Resort or the HeartSong Lodge.
