Best Italian has been open for 50 years and now has a new look with the same menu.
(GATLINBURG, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – Best Italian in Gatlinburg has a new look inside the restaurant with spaces opened up, new patio seating out by the river, but they wanted to share one thing, the food is the same.
A crowd of locals and fans of Best Italian were on hand Tuesday for the ribbon cutting and grand reopening celebration held by the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce.
The owners wanted to stress, the recipes are the same from the pizza, the lasagna and the garlic knots.
“Everything is exactly the same,” said Clay England, owner. “We just wanted to give the brand a fresh remodel for its 50th anniversary.”
Do you have outside seating now?
“Yes, we wanted to out. We have a shared patio with Howard’s our sister restaurant. We wanted to give it a light earthy, more organic green feel whereas Howard’s is that Appalachian feel. So, we have a good contrast between restaurants out there now.”
