Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flames at a Bryson City nonprofit center.
(BRYSON CITY, N.C.) SMOKIES.LIVE – A Saturday fire has left Restoration House closed on Monday as the investigation continues into how the fire started.
Investigators said on Saturday they believe the fire was intentionally set.
Bryson City Fire Department, Bryson City Police Department, and the Swain County Sheriff’s Office Arson Investigator responded and quickly put out the flames.
“We appreciate the support, professionalism, and care shown by everyone involved during a very stressful situation for our organization and community,” Restoration House posted on Facebook.

Restoration House will be closed on Monday, June 22, 2026.
