The family-owned shop in the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community has become a social media sensation with its creative cheesecakes, viral fruit desserts and oversized coffee buckets.

GATLINBURG, Tenn. (SMOKIES.LIVE) — If you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth during a Smoky Mountain vacation, La Crème Cheesecakes has become one of Gatlinburg’s most talked-about dessert destinations.

Located in the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, the family-owned bakery has gained a loyal following on social media thanks to its creative cheesecakes, colorful “viral fruit” desserts and oversized specialty coffee buckets.

Owners Chris and Brandy Anders say variety is one of the shop’s biggest draws.

“We have over 200 flavors of cheesecake that we rotate,” Brandy Anders said. “Guests can purchase a whole cheesecake, individual slices or variety boxes with four, eight or 12 slices, mixing flavors however they’d like for the family.”

Among the bakery’s most popular offerings are its viral fruit desserts, which have attracted millions of views across social media platforms.

Each dessert features fresh fruit coated in a thin chocolate shell and filled with flavored mousse, cake and fruit compote.

“They’re definitely an experience,” Anders said. “They’re fun to eat, and they’re really good.”

The shop also serves its signature 32-ounce coffee buckets, available in flavors including caramel, mocha, banana, coconut, vanilla and the increasingly popular Dubai chocolate-inspired variety.

When it comes to cheesecake, however, one flavor stands above the rest.

“Our banana pudding cheesecake is our top seller,” Anders said. “Right behind it are Strawberry Crunch and Wayne’s Buckeye.”

Located at 170 Glades Road, La Crème Cheesecakes is just a short drive from downtown Gatlinburg in the Arts & Crafts Community. Visitors traveling along U.S. Highway 321 can turn at the traffic light near Family Dollar and Subway before continuing past Jimmy’s Smokehouse Restaurant to reach the bakery.
