Enjoy a night swim, family-friendly movie and poolside fun under the stars at the Pigeon Forge Community Center.
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — Looking for a unique way to wrap up your summer? Pigeon Forge Parks and Recreation is making a splash with the city’s first-ever Dive-In Movie Night.
Families are invited to the Pigeon Forge Community Center Outdoor Pool on Friday, Aug. 7, for an evening of swimming and a special outdoor showing of the animated favorite “Shark Tale.”
The pool opens for night swimming at 6:30 p.m., with the movie beginning at 7:30 p.m. Guests can watch the film while floating in the pool or relaxing poolside under the evening sky.
Admission is free for Pigeon Forge Community Center members. Non-members are welcome with the purchase of a Community Center day pass.
Concessions will be available throughout the evening, and pool noodles and flotation devices will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Organizers encourage guests to arrive early, as entry will close once the pool reaches capacity.
The event is sponsored by Pigeon Forge Parks and Recreation and Slick City Action Park, bringing a new summer tradition to families in the Smokies.
Whether you’re floating through the movie or cheering on Oscar the fish from the deck, Dive-In Movie Night promises to be one of the coolest family events of the summer.
