KUB crews will close the westbound curbside lane Saturday as maintenance work is performed on the wastewater system.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Travel Center) — Drivers on Asheville Highway should expect a temporary lane closure Saturday, Aug. 8, as crews perform work on the wastewater system.
The Knoxville Utilities Board will close the westbound right curbside lane on a short section of Asheville Highway between Cedar Ridge Road and Arms Road from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Traffic control measures, including flaggers, arrow boards and channeling devices, will be in place to help maintain westbound traffic flow.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down, watch for workers and use caution while traveling through the work zone.
