Haywood County Schools says breakfast and lunch will once again be available at no cost to every student during the 2026-27 school year.
The district is continuing its participation in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a federal program that allows schools to provide free meals to all students without requiring families to complete meal applications.
That means families won’t have to fill out forms or submit applications to receive the benefit.
No applications. No forms. Just nutritious meals for every student.
School officials say access to healthy meals can help students stay energized, focused and ready to learn throughout the school day.
The program covers every student at every Haywood County Schools campus, helping make sure children have access to breakfast and lunch each school day without adding another expense or task to a family’s back-to-school checklist.
For families preparing for the 2026-27 school year, it’s one less thing to worry about — and one more way to help students start their school day ready to learn.
