Blount County culinary event returns Oct. 15 with five courses, wine pairings, entertainment and local chefs
MARYVILLE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Events Center) — The wait is almost over for one of Blount County’s most anticipated culinary events.
Tickets for the Long Table Community Dinner go on sale at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, for the Oct. 15 event at the Blount County Library Bridge.
Set against the backdrop of the setting autumn sun, the Long Table Community Dinner brings together some of the region’s top chefs for an evening celebrating food, community and local causes.
Guests will enjoy a five-course dinner prepared by chefs from across East Tennessee, including:
- Jeff Carter of Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro
- Trevor Stockton of The Restaurant at RT Lodge
- Jason Scott of The Walnut Kitchen
- Josh Feathers of Blackberry Farm
- Corey Giaquinta of Raven Steakhouse and Lounge
- Joseph Blauvelt and students from the Pellissippi State Community College Culinary Program
The evening will also feature pre- and post-dinner drinks, wine pairings, craft cocktails, entertainment and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Blount County Young Professionals and other local charities.
Organizers say tickets are limited and the event typically sells out quickly.
