Sources have confirmed the Melting Pot in Gatlinburg has decided not to renew the lease on the Parkway and will close later this month.
GATLINBURG, Tenn. (Smokies.Live Information Center) – Another Gatlinburg restaurant plans to close operations later this month. Sources close to the operations of The Melting Pot in Gatlinburg say the decision was made not to renew the lease on the building.
The Smokies.LIVE was referred to The Melting Pot Corporate for more information and waiting for additional details. We were told “All employees have been notified and have been taken care of,” a spokesperson said.
The Smokies.LIVE will have additional information as it becomes available.
This marks one of several Sevier County landmark restaurants closing in August. This includes Corky’s BBQ & Ribs which closed on Monday and Hard Rock Cafe plans to close this Sunday.
