(SEVIERVILLE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – Soaky Mountain Waterpark in Sevierville says they plan to hire 250 employees for summer and have started the process now.
Soaky Mountain has hiring events starting in February and said they’re looking for full-time jobs and part-time jobs ahead of summer.
For full-time employment they’re looking specifically for Director of Aquatics and Director of Operations which are year-round full time jobs. The waterpark said they are hiring for a Soaky Assistant Maintenance Manager another year-round full time job.
“We love energetic, outgoing people who like to be outside in summer providing great hospitality to our guests. However, we do have jobs that are good for introverts as well,” said Dave Andrews, Soaky Mountain General Manager. “March we start unpacking and starting to get things organized for the season.”
Attractions, Aquatics, Food & Beverage, Guest Services, Park Services, Security, and Maintenance full and part-time jobs.

Andrews said the jobs are great for teachers and students off for the summer looking for some extra money.
“Definitely, working at Soaky is a great job for teachers and teenagers. It’s also a fun second job for those looking to earn extra money in a really enjoyable setting,” Andrews added.
Soaky will hire over 250 part-time, full-time and seasonable employees annually. Potential employees must be at least 16 years of age to work in all areas, with exceptions for lifeguards and food & beverage cashiers and bussers, where employees can work at the age of 15.
