Country singer brings East Tennessee roots back to the stage Oct. 14-18

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Adventure Center) — Fall colors are filling the Smoky Mountains as Dollywood’s Harvest Festival presented by Humana welcomes visitors for another season of music, food and autumn celebrations.

Among the performers returning to the park is Knoxville native Emily Ann Roberts, who will take the stage Oct. 14-18.

Roberts first gained national attention as a contestant on Season 9 of NBC’s The Voice, where she competed as a member of Blake Shelton’s team.

Since then, Roberts has continued building her country music career, touring with artists including Shelton and Clint Black and making multiple appearances at the Grand Ole Opry.

Known for her heartfelt songwriting, traditional country sound and energetic performances, Roberts has continued connecting with audiences across the country while maintaining her ties to East Tennessee.

Her return to Dollywood gives visitors an opportunity to see a hometown artist whose career began in the region and has grown to a national audience.

Roberts is among the artists performing during Dollywood’s Harvest Festival, which features more than 700 individual performances throughout the festival.

The festival, running through Oct. 31, also features seasonal food, fall-themed decorations and more than 12,000 pumpkins throughout the park.

After dark, the pumpkins illuminate the park during the award-winning Great Pumpkin LumiNights. A new Harvest Dance Party is also held each evening in the Wildwood Grove area.

Dollywood is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the Harvest Festival. Extended hours of 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. are offered Oct. 3-15.
