Country artist dedicates latest album to workers, parents and others who earn every sunrise

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Information Center) — Multi-platinum and award-winning country artist Lee Brice has released his latest album, Sunriser (All-Nighter), a 32-track collection dedicated to the people who work through the night and rise early to face a new day.

Released through Curb Records, the album pays tribute to firefighters, nurses, truck drivers, blue-collar workers, farmers, parents and other people whose schedules often begin or end around sunrise.

Brice said the album reflects different stages of his life, from staying out all night when he was younger to becoming a father and later working late after concerts and writing sessions.

“My records have always been kind of a time stamp of where I’m at in my life,” Brice said. “With this one, I had a lot of songs that I felt kinda summed up a lot of my life’s journey.”

For Brice, the sunrise became a symbol of the work and effort behind those moments.

“A sunrise is something special to see — you’ve gotta earn those,” he said.

The album is intended as a celebration of people working overnight shifts, getting up with their children, starting their day on the farm or heading home after a long shift.

Brice said he hopes listeners can connect with the stories throughout the collection and find something that reflects their own lives.

“Hope y’all enjoy this one and can find a story in here that relates to your life in some way,” he said.

Sunriser (All-Nighter) is available now.
